Inspiring Donor Story during the Pandemic!

We, like many others, have been inspired hearing about donor stories from all over the world. In particular we admire all the amazing work DKMS is doing, especially in the UK and the US.

Here is just one example of an amazing donor story out of the UK.

Sam becomes a Lifesaver in Lockdown

Sam registered as a potential bone marrow donor in 2019 after being inspired by Peter’s a search to find his match. Sam received the call that he was a match for someone and donated during the COVID pandemic. He donated his blood stem cells through PBSC, a process similar to giving blood.
